Ahead of the game...

It's official. I'm getting teeth. I've had this think in the back of my mouth for a couple weeks now. Mommy wasn't sure it was a tooth because most babies don't get their back teeth until much later. Mori (the nice neighbor who is a dental hygenist) came over last night and poked around in there. Sure enough, my right canine is working on coming in. Most babies don't get their canines until 16-24 months. See... I told you I was ahead of the game. Mori said that the canine teeth are the most painful ones to cut. DUH! I could have told you that!!! I guess they have a really long root so it may take a long time before it's fully through my gums, but I'm well on my way to my first tooth. I hope it speeds up though because I hate waking up at 2a.m. in pain and that funny cherry flavored stuff Mommy keeps sticking on my gums makes my mouth feel weird. I hear there is a lot more of this to come,s o I better get used to it.


 
 


I had a good weekend. Saturday I hung out at home and tried to stay cool. Gwamma and Gwampa came over so Mommy and Daddy could get some more unpacking done. I don't know why they aren't finished yet! :) Then on Sunday I went over to Gwamma and Gwampa's house for a little bit so Mommy and Daddy could help Aunt Trish and Uncle Jon pack up their apartment. Gwampa had set up the pool and Gwamma was all ready for me when I got there. Like last time, she climbed right in with me. It's so much fun to kick in the water. I LOVE TO SPLASH!

Yesterday we went over to Aunt Trish and Uncle Jon's new house and helped unpack. They have a really great new house about 15 minutes away from us. I had fun getting to know Joey a little better. I'm sure we'll play together a lot more as we grow up.

Well, time for some grub and a nap. Did I tell you I added bananas to my food list. Yummy!
