Mommy is slow...

As usual Mommy is way behind in her posting. We did take my 9 month picture on my 9 month birthday, it's just taking her a long time to get around to giving it to me so I can share it with you. A lot has been going on lately. I've mastered the scooting worm crawl and can even crawl on my hands and knees when I feel like it. I've learned how to go from my belly to sitting up. Mommy laughs at me, but some times I do this in the middle of the night without even realizing it and can't figure out how to lay back down. My newest trick I've been practicing is pulling myself up. Every chance I get I'm testing this one out. I have to laugh as I watch Mommy and Daddy move every thing out of my reach or hurry to get some thing out of my way. Just wait until I crawl!

At my 9 month check up I weighed 17lbs.10oz. (13th percentile) and was 28 3/4" long (90th percentile), so I'm still carrying out that long and lean pattern. After a good look, the doctor said I'm doing just great! I could have told her that!


We spent Thanksgiving in Champaign (Mahomet, really) with Daddy's family. It was a lot of fun. I'd liked showing off to every one. Here's a picture with me and my great grandma and great grandpa.



Now we're getting ready for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy put up a tree and lights, but my favorite is still the stockings. I don't know why, but I love seeing them hanging by the fire place. Mommy took me to see Santa today. I thought he was interesting, but only for a short time. Then I got really antsy and we went off to play. I have to say, he takes a good picture though!
