Happy New Year!

I still don't know what all the big deal was about a new year. I didn't really like waking up at midnight to the sound of fireworks, especially since I was finally starting to get some good sleep after being so sick. Turns out that my cold turned in to a double ear infection with 5 days of a fever over 101... Not fun, but I'm feeling better now.

More exciting news to share... I'M WALKING!!!! Shortly after Christmas I started taking a couple steps on my own and it just kept building from there. By the New Year I had mastered the whole balance thing and could make it all the way across the room. With each day I get a little better at it. Mommy still finds it funny to watch me cautiously sit down when I see some thing I want on the floor, but it's better than falling.

That's all we've been up to. I've been playing with all my new toys and exploring new levels (now that I can reach more). Mommy said she'll try to let me on the computer to post more often, but I'll have to see it to believe it... stay tuned just in case she keeps that New Years Resolution!
