Busy bee...
A lot has happened since I turned 11 months old. I got to go to my first birthday party. My buddy Joey turned 1 on January 16th, but they had a belated party because he was sick at the time. Really, I don't think any one my age knows the difference. In fact, I'm sure we'll celebrate my birthday after the fact since it's in the middle of the week. Anyway, I had a TON of fun. I love being around all the little kids. And Joey got to eat this special thing that made his face all blue. Mommy said it was his birthday cake and that I'll be getting one too. I can't wait. Here's us diving in to Joey's toys... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOEY!

On Sunday we got to go sledding in our back yard. We didn't get any pictures, but Mommy and Daddy took some video. I really wasn't that impressed. Daddy says I'll like it next year for sure. We'll see. We got TONS of snow in the past couple weeks. Here's a picture of our back deck buried in the white fluffy stuff.

Now it's just REALLY cold. We aren't even considering going outside right now. It's so cold that there's ice on the INSIDE of the windows. Mommy says that it was 5 degrees BELOW zero when we got up this morning and that's not even considering the wind chill. YIKES! Mommy, Daddy, and I all ended up getting sick Sunday night... I'll spare the details... but that's why I'm a week behind on my update. We're all better now. That's all that matters.
Here's one more photo for the week. This is me playing in Mommy's office. I have a shelf with all my own books on them. I love pulling them all over and scattering them around the room. I'm pretty sure if I stack them just right I'll be able to reach the next shelf and get Mommy's books, but I'm not quite there yet... soon.

In other news - I'm getting my two top teeth. The one on my top left broke through on February 1st. You can still barely see it but it did break through the gums. The one right next to it on the right is about to do the same. Makes for some cranky days, but I think that's understandable - sharp objects breaking through your gums would make you cranky too! My other new tricks for the week include running, crossing my feet when I sit (Mommy says I look too grown up when I do it), eating beans and broccoli, and playing 'get me' with Mommy. I like chasing her.
Off to have some lunch. I'm getting really good at feeding myself and am trying lots of new foods each day.
GO COLTS!!!!
love,
troy
