Another big weekend!

As I promised in my last post... I have a lot of exciting news to share this time. Friday I went for me 12 month check-up. Every thing went GREAT! I loved showing off for the doctor. She gave me these cool wooden sticks to chew on while she looked me over, so that was fun. The shots weren't very much fun, but I was very brave and only cried for a few short seconds. She said I look excellent! No kidding! I weigh 19lbs.13oz. (about 15th percentile) and am 30 3/4 inches tall (about 85th percentile).

Saturday I played while Mommy and Daddy got a lot done around the house... I even helped with the laundry. I can unfold it about as fast as Daddy can fold. LOL! Then we went out to dinner with the Furore clan to say good-bye to Uncle Nick. He's moving to Vegas. He left on Sunday, so we had a nice dinner out at Papa Joe's to see him off. I have to say, I LOVE that place. We've been going there since I was 4 months old. Now that I can eat the food, I like it even more.

Sunday was a lot of fun. After my nap we went and I got my very first official haircut (if you don't count the time Mommy trimmed my bangs). The lady was very nice. It's really short now (looks like I haven't grown all my hair yet, actually), but I'm sure it'll grow fast. Here are some pictures...

When we were all done, we went to Sears to get my 12 month pictures. I had no interest in sitting still... the camera and all the props were just too tempting... so we didn't get many pictures. Oh well. Mommy and Grandma take enough to make up for it. Here's one from afterwards when we stopped in the food court for ice cream. Check out all my teeth. You can now see 2 on top and 2 on bottom, and I have 1-2 more working there way out on top now too (hence, my fingers are always in my mouth).
